 06:00 am             Take SGR Express train at Tanzanite Railway Station in Dar es Salaam. Reporting time starts at 04:00 am.

07:41 am             Arrive in Morogoro.

08:00 – 10:00 am             Transferred to Mikumi National Park (118 kms, 2 hours’ drive) and arrive at the park entrance gate for payments of park entrance fees, registration and securing permits. Make sure you have a Tanzania National Identity card for citizen and passport for residents and non-residents.

10:00 – 1:00 pm                Game drive in an open landcruiser. You will have an opportunity to see many wildlife like Buffalos, Lions, Zebra, Giraffes, Elephants, Hippos, Greater Kudu and Sable Antelope. Also Mikumi boasts with a respectful species of birds with the common ones being the black bellied bustard, guinea fowls, marabou storks, bateleur eagles, ox peckers, colourful lilac breasted rollers and yellow throated long claw.

1:00 – 2:00 pm                  Bush lunch. This will be packed picnic lunch. Special request may be made for a hot bush lunch.

2:00 – 4:30 pm                  Game drive.

5:00 – 7:00 pm                  Transferred back to Morogoro

7:30 pm               Take SGR Express train at Morogoro back to Dar es Salaam.

9:30 pm               Arrive at Tanzanite Railway station in Dar es Salaam
