Embark on an unforgettable two-day safari adventure to Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. Day 1:Â Â Â Â Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive for about two hours to Arusha City, a distance of about 80 kms / 50 miles, then drive to Tarangire National Park for another three hours about 107 kms / 66 miles, lunch enroute. Before going for game drive into Tarangire National Park, you will check into your hotel located near by the national park, then proceed for evening game drive in the park. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. It has large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and Cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, velvet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog. The park is home to more than 550 bird species.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park. In the park you will have spectacular view of the rift valley wall, marshland, waterfowls and animals such as elephants, Hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and zebra. The park offers a high diversity of bird species which are over 390 species both migrants and residents. It includes a thousand of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. After lunch you will drive to Arusha City for about three hours about 107 kms / 66 miles and then to Kilimanjaro International Airport 40 kms / 25 miles, for your flight back home.
