Cancellation by Client and Refund Demands
A situation may arise whereby a client may be forced to cancel his or her confirmed tour and he or she may demand a refund. It should be noted that once a deposit or the balance payment is made a big part of it is paid out to third parties, especially those who are lined to provide services like accommodation or park fees, during the days of your tour. There is also a government tax which is levied and paid for by Safari Elations Tanzania on any payment deposited in bank account. These shall not be possible to refund. Therefore once a notice of cancellation is served to and received by Safari Elations Tanzania, a calculation will be made to get the amount which is a balance and may be refunded to the client. A proof for the basis of that calculation will be produced to the client.  Nevertheless Safari Elations Tanzania will levy cancellation charges on refundable balance as defined in the section below:
- 10% of refund amount if cancelled more than 90 days before the tour starts;
- 30% of refund amount if cancelled 60-89 days before the tour starts;
- 60% of refund amount if cancelled 30-59 days before the tour starts;
- 80% of refund amount if cancelled 8-29 days before the tour starts;
- No refund if cancelled 0-7 days before the tour starts.
Holding Deposit
Instead of cancelling the tour and demand a refund clients are advised to ask for indefinite hold of the funds. Safari Elations Tanzania will facilitate the same holding by any third party who was paid to provide service until such a time that the client will be able revive his or her tour.,
